Highwire Comedy Company's Training Center offers you the chance to meet new friends, get comfortable talking in front of groups, learn improv, sketch or stand-up comedy, and quite possibly have the time of your life! Our classes feature Atlanta's best instructors to guarantee a weekly workout that will make you smarter, faster, and funnier. And if you are unsure, we offer free previews to our Level 1 Improv and Sketch curriculum regularly.

Whether you’re a beginner who wants to learn the basics or a veteran player looking to grow your skill set, we have an improv class for you. Our improv training supports students every step of the way and our curriculum is designed to be active - getting students on their feet from day one! Along the way you will learn scenework, teamwork, comedy techniques, and long form improv structures. Plus the training program is led by some of Atlanta's most talented and experienced instructors.
Sketch Writing Classes
If you want to learn how to write great sketch comedy then Highwire Comedy Co.'s sketch writing program is for you. Our sketch classes will teach the mechanics behind what makes a great sketch work and the discipline to help you become a great writer. We use the writer's room philosophy led by skilled instructors so that each student receives constructive feedback from week to week. In addition as you progress you will learn to analyze your own work and gain the discipline to write consistently to build a writing packet.
Our intro classes wrap up with a staged reading of sketches and our advanced class ends with a performance cast from Highwire performers.
Stand Up Comedy Classes
Learn how to turn your ideas into stand up comedy. Stand up classes at Highwire are just the thing for you if you are looking to get started in stand up. Our classes provide classroom time, stage practice, and structured feedback. Each class wraps up with a student performance for friends and family.
